Day 2 Las Vegas to California

While we were in Las Vegas we took the kids to M&M World and then headed off to California. The first thing the kids wanted to do when we got to our hotel was swim of coarse.

We drove to Las Vegas and stayed the night at the Excalibur ( We thought the kids would like staying in a castle)

California - Day 1

WARNING this is a very long post. For Our Summer Vacation, well one of them, we went to California. We left Wednesday after Alex left the office.

First week of summer

I love summer! I love having the kids home and love doing fun things with them. We had a super busy first week of summer.

Last Monday we went to the zoo, It rained but was still alot of fun.

Tuesday Belle had her first Piano lesson.

Wednesday we went to Lagoon . It rained that day too but not to bad. Alex had the camera that day so I didn't get any pics. Izabelle is such a dare devil. I've never seen a kid so little love roller coasters like her. She loved the wicked. I personal think it is wickedly freaky.

Thursday we actually were able to just stay at home.

Friday My Little sister and her family came from Moab to celebrate her son Maverick's 4th Birthday.

Saturday We went to Bluffdale Days for a parade, where Izabelle was hit in the eye with a flying piece of candy, and big blow up slides. Not a bad first week of summer.

The second/third week of summer will be even better. San Diego here we come!

Kindergarten Picnic

Today was the Kindergarten Picnic at our school. Ms. Hansen ( Izabelle's teacher) never does anything half way.

They played games, cleaned desks, did a talent show and had one of the best spreads of food at a school function I have ever seen. The last pic is of me and some of the other Moms who religiously volunteer at the school. That is one of the great things about volunteering on a weekly bases is that I have made a lot of friends too. I love and am blessed that my husband has always worked hard (sometimes working two jobs and going to school) so I was always able to stay at home and be there for all of our kids major and minor events. He Rocks!

Tracy Aviary/ Liberty Park

Next was Liberty Park/Aviary. Where we ate lunch, walked through the aviary and played at the park. Where the kids got completely wet. Then we went home. It was a good trip.

The State Capital

Oakleigh's field trip was today. We first went to the State Capital. Here she is outside the capital with her friends

I had never been on a guided tour (that I can remember). It was a lot better than a self guided tour.
